2nd, 3rd and 4th classes had a fantastic day participating in a rugby blitz in Creggs. Tarmon N.S. competed against Creggs, Fuerty, Clontuskert and Glenamaddy National Schools and they enjoyed every second of the day! Many thanks to all involved.
Samples of your child’s very own Christmas cards went home this week. They look amazing! Remember to send in your order form tomorrow, Thursday, so that your order can be placed in time for December. On that note, Christmas annuals may be ordered in all classes at a cost of €2 each. Many thanks.
Just a reminder that there is no school this Friday 16th of November as the staff have an inservice day. Christmas Shoeboxes will be gladly accepted early next week. Thank you.
Swimming lessons have resumed since midterm and will continue every Monday until Christmas. Children are reminded to bring a swimming cap and goggles as part of their swimming gear. Thank you.
On the 23rd of March our school held a Blue Day to promote Autism Awareness. We decorated the school with our amazing blue art, blew up lots of balloons and dressed in blue for our special day.
Kevin McStay, the Roscommon football manager, along with parents and other guests, joined with us in our celebrations. We gathered in our school hall where we listened to speeches and got to see the Nestor Cup. After the speeches we made our way outside where we released our blue balloons up into the sky.
We had a great day and we hope everyone enjoyed it! We are looking forward to next year’s Blue Day already!
