The Mission Statement of Tarmon N.S. in active participation with the wider community is : -To encourage tolerance and respect within the school community.  To develop the whole person socially, academically and spiritually. To expect that each individual will work to his/her maximum potential, accepting the varying abilities of each child. 

Tarmon N.S is a Catholic Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop of Elphin, Most Rev. Kevin Doran.  The Board of Management manages the school on behalf of the Patron.

Community Representative’s: - Mary Colleary  & Kerry Coyne

The Board meets at least once a term and supports the Principal and other teachers in the day to day running of the school.
