Thanks to the generosity of the community in Castlerea and Tarmon a further contribution of €15,000.00 was also raised.
An Early Intervention (A.S.D) Class was established in November 2014. A new classroom and associated facilities will be built in 2015.
The Area of the School Site: -
The playground area includes a large tarmac area of approx 2000m2 that provides for separate play areas for the various age groups. This area is fitted with basketball posts and soccer goals. Mrs. Reeba Walker owner of the adjoining land in a gesture of enormous generosity has kindly donated 5000m2 of a sports field to the school. This has been fenced off for use as a playground. This area has been added to the school insurance. An outdoor store has also been built to provide storage for PE equipment and surplus furniture.
