4th and 5th class visited the astonishing Rathcroghan and witnessed where Halloween is said to have originated from, in the ‘Cave of the Cats’. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈
We also learned about the Iron Age and the life of Queen Maeve.👑

On Monday we gathered together in the hall for our whole school assembly. We had lots of nominations so far this term for our latest Changemaker students who have recently shown the characteristics of empathy, teamwork, creativity and/or leadership. Mr Dowd awarded each Changemaker with a certificate and wristband and there were smiles all round.

We also had a visit from the lovely Niamh McCann who, on behalf of CJ’s Rainbow Charity, accepted our donation of €500 which was raised by the students last term. 🌈
