We were thrilled to welcome our friends from StMichael's Castlerea for the finale of the Towards Inclusion Pilot Programme last week.
The children enjoyed some popcorn as we watched some footage from the project. After this the children reflected on their favourite moments from their many experiences throughout last year and they sketched some special memories. Everyone was awarded a certificate to mark their achievements. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the students and staff from St Michael’s School for their joint support in this wonderful project. The programme was such a success that both schools are very excited to continue the project this year! We look forward to what the future holds! 🥰 The Teacher Artist Partnership (TAP) is a Creative Ireland Initiative funded by both the Department of Education and Skills and Creative Ireland. As part of this initiative, artist Lorraine Donoghue was paired with Third Class to work with us on a creative arts project. We made clay sculptures of our hands and we painted them today. It has been great fun exploring the medium of clay. Many thanks to Lorraine for all her help.

These special gifts will be delivered in November so they can be opened on Christmas Day. Your kindness will bring so much joy to children who
might not otherwise have anything to celebrate with. Thank you for your support in helping us spread Christmas cheer yet again this year! 🎄🎄🎄 Congratulations to our Debating Team who won the first round of Concern debates, proposing the motion that "Everyone in Ireland should be given a bike" Comhghairdeas libh!
