We are very lucky to have regular visits from a special group of nuns who teach us about Religion and share their many musical talents and gifts with us. Today was extra special as they told us about Mary of Guadalupe and taught us a beautiful song about Baby Jesus.

Children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class are currently participating in weekly Speech and Drama classes with Sandra, our Speech and Drama teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to build confidence and express themselves through drama games, improvisation, puppetry and script reading. Students are really enjoying these lessons and it is amazing to see their progress each week!

This year our Christmas raffle, in aid of Tarmon National School, will be held on 15th December. We have some amazing prizes to be won including the top prize of €500. Raffle cards and lines are available to purchase from the office. Your support is greatly appreciated.

​Congratulations to Mr. Collins' 5th & 6th Class who completed a group entry for the Someone Like Me Art competition and emerged as county winners of the senior class category. This fantastic competition aims to promote disability awareness among primary school children. Children will travel to Dublin on Monday 4th to the award ceremony. Well done boys and girls!

We are preparing to host a festive social gathering in Tarmon National School on 15th December 2017. Parents, guardians, friends and relatives are invited. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Class will participate in the Peace Proms music education programme in Galway in January 2018. The pupils will perform with a full symphony orchestra and professional conductors. Song lyrics and choreography can be found through the following links:
