Lots of fun in the Superstar Room recently….children explored autumnal sensory art, collected acorns, made popcorn and there was great excitement cracking open a coconut!
Our Sixth Class scientists have recently been learning all about matter and it’s different states. They used iPads to create this video which showcases their learning. Check out their amazing work …. Sixth Class made pizzas with Sinéad on Thursday and Friday last. They used tomatoes from the garden to make the homemade sauce and used some for the toppings too. So delicious! 🍕Great job Sixth Class! ⭐️ Creative work from Senior Infants Aistear! ‘At The Doctors’ and ‘The Birthday Party’ were the themes explored last month.
The school garden was a hive of activity over the last few weeks. The last of the tomatoes were picked, weeds were uprooted, watering holes were dug, the chicken coop was cleaned out and topped up with fresh bedding, old hinges were replaced and even the polytunnel was scrubbed clean. Well done to all on the great teamwork!
Children from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class participated in the Roscommon Cross County Running event at Roscommon Racecourse last week. Well done to all who participated.
