We are celebrating Kindness and Empathy Week this week throughout the school.

This week as part of Science Week our First Class children learned to make paper aeroplanes with the help of our friend Jacob.

Today we put the aeroplanes to the test to see who’s could travel the furthest in the gym. Congrats to Noah who had the furthest flight with his orange plane ✈️ 🏆

During Science Week 2023 Second Class explored their science lesson through Irish. The children examined their own individual fingerprints. It was a lovely reminder of how unique and special we all are.

The class also had lots of fun learning about static electricity.

Class 1 are learning all about House and Homes. They read the story of The Three Little Pigs and created houses based on the story. 🏡 🏠 🏡

Third Class are learning about the concept of multiplication this year. They used Lego bricks to visually represent their multiplication tables!

First Class children participated in a maths trail as part of Maths Week 2023
They used iPads to take photographs of maths in our environment.

Creggs National School came to visit us on Friday last to participate in a football and basketball blitz against our 4th, 5th and 6th classes! It was a fantastic day full of sport! 🏀 ⚽️
