On Thursday the 27th of September we celebrated National Fitness Day by walking/jogging laps of our track. Each class tried their best to complete as many laps as possible. In total the whole school walked or jogged 2,279 laps, which is the equivalent of 615km or 14.6 marathons. We had lots of fun!
First Class children were busy creating animal enclosures this week during our STEM sessions. 🐅🦓🐘
They had loads of fun designing and constructing their creations using clothes pegs and lollipop sticks.
Pupils in Second Class took part in an “automatic” maths trail focusing on number plates in the school car park.
They took pictures of the cars using the iPads and made number sentences from the registration plate numbers.
