On the 23rd of March our school held a Blue Day to promote Autism Awareness. We decorated the school with our amazing blue art, blew up lots of balloons and dressed in blue for our special day.
Kevin McStay, the Roscommon football manager, along with parents and other guests, joined with us in our celebrations. We gathered in our school hall where we listened to speeches and got to see the Nestor Cup. After the speeches we made our way outside where we released our blue balloons up into the sky.
We had a great day and we hope everyone enjoyed it! We are looking forward to next year’s Blue Day already!
